I enjoyed taking some time to review this information with seniors a couple of weeks ago during their US Government classes. Obviously this is can be a stressful time for everyone but seniors have the added pressure of planning for life beyond OHS. Breaking down the to do list into manageable steps is a key to making what can be a difficult time - a little less so.
One task seniors and their parents/guardians will definitely want to add to this list will be to attend our OHS Financial Planning for College Night. This is scheduled for Tuesday, January 14th at 5:00pm in the OHS auditorium. This will be a terrific opportunity to learn about how to complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) along with finding out about other financial opportunities seniors should take advantage of to maximize their dollars for college.
